WEDDING TESTIMONIAL FEBRUARY 2009 *****
Hi Virginia & all Margan Staff,
We are now back to the real world after 2 weeks of lying by the beach in a hammock and sipping champagne, so I just wanted to thank-you for all of your patience and help in organizing our wedding. It was such a special and memorable day for not only ourselves but all of our family and friends who attended. From day one, you made the process so easy and offered so much help and calming advice which took away so much of the stress usually associated with wedding planning. Being in Sydney we were unable to come up there, but that was not an issue and with your help I was able to do absolutely everything via email and phone. I would also particularly like to thank you for your patience in dealing with my fussiness, multiple changes, bridal indecision and as I emailed through my numerous versions of what has now become known as ‘the wedding manual’. Everything was set up perfectly and the marquee and barrel room looked absolutely beautiful and just as I had hoped for. You and the staff at Margans were so accommodating of all of our requests, nothing was too hard and we really could not have asked for more. Damien and I enjoyed every minute and had to worry about nothing on the evening except for having a great time as we knew it was all taken care of by you and Deanne.
As soon as we saw Margan’s for the first time we knew it was the venue we wanted and although most of our guests had never been there before, I am sure many will return as we have had so many comments on how lovely the venue is as well as the amazing food and wine. The champagne and sticky are sure to be lifelong favorites not only for us but for many of the guests as well.
If you could please also send on our sincere thanks to Jose, Deanne and all of the staff at Margans. Our guests had a fabulous time and much of this was due to the friendly service and Jose’s exceptional food. As you know the night of our wedding was pouring with rain and the staff were just amazing ferrying all of the food and drinks across to the marquee and in the process getting soaking wet for which we do apologize, but please let them know that it was really appreciated. We also would like to thank Lisa and Andrew for letting us use their beautiful homestead for our photographs. They have a beautiful winery that provided us with an amazing backdrop and setting for our wedding.
You and all of the staff at Margans ensured that our day was perfect, despite the torrential rain, and that all went without a hitch. I promise to send through some photos when we finally get them and we will definitely recommend Margan’s to anyone looking for a unique venue in the future. Thank-you again.
