WOW, where do we start......... THANK YOU!!
We are still on cloud nine after our amazing wedding at Margan on 09/09/09. We will NEVER forget what an absolutely breaktaking wedding we had and the amazing service and hospitality Virginia and the staff provided us and Margan will remain our favourite winery in the Hunter Valley.
From the minute we saw Margans ad with the french iron doors in the Hunter Valley tourist magazine to the first time we saw the winery in person we were in love with the place. We were taken back by how a place so beautiful and unique could be so affordable and fit perfectly within our budget and style of wedding. It was exactly what the both of us had envisioned from day dot but exceeded those expectations on the day.
People have not stopped talking about the place, the food, the wine and the service. It was a really a home away from home and everyone has commented on how relaxing and warm the place felt. Not pretentious or formal like some weddings.
The food - stunning! The highest commendations to your chef's who produced melt in your mouth food. It left people wanting seconds ( and not because it was small:)
The wine was lovely - the bridal table was very impressed as 2 of the bridal party work i the industry and absolutely loved the wine ( especially the merlot and Cab Sav)
The service - 10 out of 10, especially Dee who waited on us for our complimentry dinner and on the night of the wedding, even helping me tie my huge dress train up at the back so i could have a boogie on the dance floor :) The day went off without a hitch and a major part of that is a credit to you all. We were able to relax and enjoy the day/night and not worry about a thing. Thankyou!!!!!
Ive attached a few photos taken by some guests at the wedding however the professional shots are yet to come. As soon as they are available i will forward them on and feel free to use them as you wish. We cant wait for our next trip to the hunter to revisit Margan!
