Our Margan Cooking Schools will equip you with the basic skills in the kitchen to make your dinner parties the envy of all of your family and friends.
Over the course of the year, we will cover all of the kitchen basics including knife skills, filleting, deboning and curing fish, pasta and cheese making and handling and preparation of proteins, vegetables and Perigold Black Truffles.
Each class starts in the famed Margan Kitchen Garden, learning about how we grow and maintain our vegetables and fruits and then harvesting the produce that you will use to cook with. Wonder through the citrus orchard and collect freshly laid eggs. Hear the Head Chefs thought processes and planning behind a menu based around sustainable living including some tips for your own garden. We then don aprons and progress to the kitchen to get to the fun stuff!
The piece de resistance? 3 course lunch in our highly awarded One Hat Margan Restaurant with matched wines and the Brokenback Mountain Range as your backdrop.
