Tasty wine. A field blend of three varieties all inter-planted with one another. Planting took place in 2010.
Dark fruit before savoury characters thunder through. I can't help but feel I need to reach for a slab of meat. The mid palate is drying with crunchy acidity chiming in nicely as does some cedar. There's a warmth to the delivery with a peppery spice and raspy tannin finish.
Hearty food in front of a fire and a glass of this = good form.
Drink now to eight years.
90/100
