Andrew and Lisa Margan climbing the steep vineyard of Trabener Wurtzgarten on the Mosel to pick riesling

When our 2019 Huesgen and Margan Riesling was first released in August, it quickly sold out within four weeks! Who knew you all loved German Riesling so much? Well we’ve got some great news, we’ve bought across more from Germany and will be here in Broke next week. While we can’t promise pre-Christmas delivery we are taking pre-orders for you to fill your cellars with the wine of the Summer!

Picked at the ideal ripeness with ripe primary fruit characters of nashi pear and strength of acidity. The wine evolved out of fermentation with hints of ginger and lychee and ripe pineapple aromatics. The palate is balanced and structured around its strength of ripe fruit and lifted acid backbone. A small level of phenolics left in the wine has helped to strengthen the back palate of the wine. A dry Riesling, true to it’s German heritage it is built to drink now and to age.
