Hello from the Hunter Valley.

It’s been a little while since we emailed you with news and updates from Margan.

This year (which apparently is almost half over, but that can’t be right) has been busy, starting with Vintage 2017 (sunny, dry and fantastic), new wine releases, pruning underway in the vineyard and we have just wrapped up our White Label Members Lunches.

2017 Margan New Releases

Get in now! Our new release wines will be available to the public 1 June,  and as ‘Mates of Margan’ you can get first access.

These fantastic wines include the White Label Semillon and Chardonnay, both displaying the soft ripeness of the 2016 vintage whites.

We also have the 2015 Breaking Ground reds with Shiraz Mouvedre, Barbera, Tempranillo Graciano Shiraz & Claret. I often get asked about the success of these new and alternative varieties planted here in the Hunter and all indications thus far are a resounding ‘Yes’ with all having been awarded a trophy at some stage. Just out as well is the 2017 Breaking Ground Albarino with the last vintage selling out within weeks. Going, going, gone…
