More than 13,000 recently married couples voted Margan Wines & Restaurant as the Best Restaurant Reception venue in New South Wales at the 2021 ABIA Awards, placing Margan at the pinnacle of the Best & Trusted Wedding Businesses in the state ahead of well-known names such as Jonah’s Whale Beach and Ben Ean Winery, Hunter Valley.
Not only did Margan take out the top venue award, but their very own Oonagh O’Brien, was given a prestigious Top 10 position, placed 7th in fact in NSW for best Event Manager.
There were 703 Nominees, 247 Shortlisted Finalists, and 36 Winners in this year’s 24th NSW ABIA Wedding Industry Awards that are designed to ensure high standards across the wedding marketplace, ensuring professionalism, proficiency, and kindness.
It was noted by the 2021 Award Ratings and Testimonials, that NSW Wedding Couples were incredibly grateful for the immense efforts of businesses like Margan Winery & Restaurant that invested in each one of their weddings especially during such challenging times in the lead up to the judging.
The ABIA Wedding Awards, were presented live on YouTube last Thursday evening, and both Margan and Oonagh were celebrated by their peers and awarded their titles.
Newlyweds who had experienced venues across NSW in the preceding 12 months were asked to review then vote on their experiences across four judging criteria: quality of product, service, staff attitude and knowledge and overall value. To become a finalist, a venue is required to receive a rating of 95% or more from every review and must also receive a minimum number of nominations to be considered for an ABIA award. Margan in fact scored 99.70 and Oonagh an outstanding 97.75%.
