A Legendary Honour: Andrew & Lisa Margan Recognised at the 2025 Hunter Valley Legends Awards

We are incredibly proud and deeply honoured to share some fantastic news from the18th annual Hunter Valley Legends Awards, held on June 5th, 2025. In a truly special evening celebrating the dedication and innovation within our region, Margan Wines' very own Andrew and Lisa Margan were both recognised as Living Legends in their respective fields.

Andrew was awarded the prestigious title ofWine Living Legend, a testament to his decades of unwavering commitment to crafting exceptional Hunter Valley wines, his pioneering spirit in sustainable viticulture and his significant contribution to the region's esteemed reputation on the world stage. From the unique terroir of our Broke Fordwich vineyards to the innovative practices in our winery, Andrew's passion has always been at the heart of Margan Wines.

Adding to this incredible honour, Lisa was recognised as theTourism Living Legend. Lisa's vision and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the Margan experience beyond just wine. Her passion for our farm-to-table ethos, the development of our acclaimed restaurant and the creation of immersive visitor experiences have made Margan a true destination within the Hunter Valley. This award celebrates her tireless efforts in showcasing the region's beauty and hospitality.

To have both Andrew and Lisa recognised as Living Legends in the same year is an extraordinary honour for the Margan family and the entire Margan team. It reflects the culmination of years of hard work, a shared vision for sustainability and excellence and a deep love for the Hunter Valley and the Broke Fordwich Region.
