We are operating under COVID restrictions and are bound by NSW Health regulations. Please read the following important information to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit.

Firstly, be assured that Margan Wines & Restaurant have been confirmed COVID SAFE under Service NSW and have a detailed and registered COVID Plan. As such, we commit to complying with all current directives as issued by NSW Health so please ensure you check in with our Team on arrival.

Bookings: All reservations are best made online, just follow the prompts. We are unable to operate at our usual full capacity of guests and it will be usual to have a waitlist for tables, so we require full pre-payment to secure your booking. If you have difficulty making a reservation, please contact us on 6579 1317 and we can assist.

Cancellation: We understand that ‘life happens’ and you may need to amend, reschedule or cancel your reservation. If we receive notification of cancellation:
• 7 or more days in advance, a full refund will be provided.*
• Less than one week, an 80% refund will be provided.*
• After 12pm on the Thursday before your booking, we are unable to provide a refund. If you prefer to reschedule rather than cancel please let us know.
• In the case of a lockdown mandated by NSW Health, we will provide a full refund*
* Credit card surcharges will not be refunded.
• All cancellations, amendments and rescheduling requests need to be in writing to restaurant@margan.com.au.

Arrival: Please arrive a few minutes early for your reservation to allow time to check in. Our degustation is served at a leisurely pace so to help you plan your day allow approximately two hours. Please contact us if you are delayed.

Children: Mini Foodies are always welcome to dine with us at Margan, but because they are included in the total number of guests currently allowed, we have limited availability for children under 12 years. Young adults (over 12 years) will be served our degustation menu and need to be booked in accordingly.

Group bookings:
Restaurant: We can accommodate groups of 10 to 30 guests. Please contact us directly on restaurant@margan.com.au so we can assist with managing your group. A discretionary 8% service charge is applied to all tables of 10 to 30 guests (reducing to 5% for groups of 31 guests onward) as a gratuity paid directly to our staff. For weddings and events where exclusive use of our venue is preferred please contact us on events@margan.com.au . We would love to help you plan your special day.

Cellar Door: To ensure you get the best out of your wine tasting experience, group sizes are limited to 6-8 guests in total. If you wish to visit with more than this please email our cellar door manager at cellardoor@margan.com.au who will assist with your enquiry.

COVID: Please adhere with instructions as directed by our team during your visit. If you feel ill with flu-like symptoms, please do not visit us.
